"Eye on Diversity will highlight the contributions, opportunities and achievments of the corporate world in promoting and encouraging diversty within the workplace".

Making it in America

Eye on Diversity: Making it in America is a half hour Television Show and Internet Magazine created for entertainment and educational value. We will highlight the impact of diversity in the corporate world - how diversity in hiring and using diversity owned businesses helps corporations and how corporations can help the community. At first it seems like a nuts and bolts approach until you meet the personalities and families of the people. The positive impact on their lives is significant as they are encouraged to become masters of their own fate while creating jobs within their community. Through interviews and coverage of events and activities each episode will promote and encourage diversity within the workforce and community by featuring a company’s or organization’s diversity commitment and initiatives. A show host (or hostess) will tie three segments together per episode. EoD will document the opportunities , challenges, and success of minority owned businesses as they navigate the supplier diversity process. EoD will highlight institutions who are successfully meeting their corporate civic responsibilities while at the same time enjoying business success.

With the NY & NJ Minority Supplier Development Council, Inc. as the cornerstone of our research, our goal is to showcase the different accomplishments and future plans of the council. We will watch and even stimulate networking in whatever sphere we are filming. We will search for stories of cooperation that are little known outside the industries or communities they are in. Instead of waiting for a chance hit on a news magazine show, “Eye on Diversity” will build interest with promos and continue the story with follow-ups. Coverage like this is penetrating and long lasting. This is good for the community, good for the economy, and in the end good for the corporations who already support and need talented and dedicated workers. For although these stories of cooperation may be little known outside their industry ….

…“Eye on Diversity” will bring you right there.

About Us

VRT Media, brainchild of Vincent R. Taylor, recognized a need and opportunity for a minority owned production company in the areas of commercial, TV, film, internet, and digital-based media. Considering the expanding reach of media, in 2000, we positioned ourselves for growth in all areas. It wasn’t long before our first project, "Bob Franks for New Jersey Senate", walked in the door. Producing for Barry Vetere, partner of the world renown MVSBM Agency, VRT Media won kudos for its swift turn-around and top quality execution. Vincent Taylor is also a member of the Directors Guild of America East and a proud member of Teamsters Local 817.
